Spring Cleaning, New Beginnings

Hello guys!

It’s been a while, so let’s just dive right in. The last few months have been super hectic for me. I’ve been busy at work, trying to juggle my online brand and in the process of moving flats. Back story: My boyfriend and I have nearly always been long distance, up until about a year ago when he decided to move to London to be with me. He got a job almost instantly after an interview and had a week to find a flat. Luckily, he found one in a good location and slowly, but surely, I started leaving things there and moved in with him. But – you know when you have all these ideas of what your first flat is going to look like when you move out from home, this wasn’t it. Since then I have been scouring the internet for new properties waiting for his lease to end and chance had it, we found the most perfect flat, just weeks before he needed to move out. So, as you can imagine, it was a very stressful time.


Now, we’re in the new place and I couldn’t be happier. It’s everything I wished for and more. We have a stunning two bedroom flat, large bay windows, a brand-new, all-white kitchen – it’s just the dream. Then it dawned on me…we needed to clean the old flat and organise a removals company to help us. That’s where Fantastic Services come in. Now, some of you may know that I have worked with them before and I just can’t recommend them enough. In 2018, they kindly helped us out with our Christmas tree and it was so so beautiful – do you remember this? Anyway, Fantastic Services¬†offer a number of different services to help you out in any way, shape or form. From regular household cleaning, pest control and removals – they do it all.


We got Fantastic Services involved to help us with the end of tenancy cleaning (which we all know can be a nightmare) and moving us into the new place. I can’t even put into words how helpful this was. Everyone warned me that moving is such a stressful process and I am so so grateful for how helpful the team was, not to mention how easy they made it for us. The removals team arrived at 9am and helped us pack everything and then it was off to the new apartment to unload, all of which was done by half 12 – SO FAST I CAN’T EVEN DEAL. After we’d taken a short break, I headed back to the old flat where the cleaning team arrived and they left the place spotless! “YAY to getting all of the deposit back” – I hear you scream.



Now to show you the goods. I’ve always loved interiors and was so excited to start decorating our new flat – I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. As a perfectionist, I think there’s still so much more we can do, but it’s amazing having such a beautiful, clean space as we head into Spring (or is it Summer now?) – who knows. I literally can’t wait to start sharing more interior posts with you all as it’s literally becoming my new obsession and again, I am so thankful to Fantastic Services who have made the entire process so easy and laid back for us.
