So this is something a little different but I thought as Valentine’s day is (quite literally) around the corner, I wanted to suggest a night that doesn’t involve splashing the cash on a fancy dinner for two where everyone is going to be ordering the same set price menu with a bottle of prosecco just so they can get into that superficial Valentine’s spirit.
If you really want to celebrate your loved ones, do it without a fuss and spend the night at home. After all, what is more romantic than a candle lit night in for two?!
My boyfriend and I are planning on moving in together very soon, but can’t spend this Valentine’s together as we’re both so busy with work. But if we were spending Tuesday night together I imagine it would look something like this…
NOW, film time! Film choices are critical. Its a tough topic to talk about on the best of days, let alone Valentine’s Day – and I know I’m not the only one who can never agree on a film with their boyfriend. Ollie still hasn’t seen The Notebook (which I do not understand HOW) so that is obviously a given film, others would probably have to be Ghost, Pretty Woman and There’s Something About Mary. And if you still can’t decide – check out these 20 best romantic movies of all time.
Now to set the scene I’ve decided it should be completely cinematic. How about, a cinema style screening in our own front room. Yes, I’m not joking. I recently came across the Ultra HD 4K TV Panasonic and I mean, it’s just everyone’s dream isn’t it? “Beautiful Design meets Exquisitely Cinematic Pictures” – the most perfect way to describe this TV in 6 words. This pro HDR model TV boasts a size of 65 inches, outstanding colour contrast, quality and brightness, and a sleek artistic design that would do justice in any room of the house.
Growing up with a mother obsessed with shopping, I’m used to a new TV in the house at least every two years and we now have a TV in every single room. So I’m not trying to brag, but I know a thing or two about buying a TV – and with my series binge-watching and Ollie’s obsession with video games this Ultra HD, Surround Sound, Smart TV would be the perfect asset to our first home together. So if the Kardashians can have cinema rooms in every single one of their houses, then I’m certainly entitled to this. Buy it here.
So, what do you think of this post? Reckon you could trade the glam night out and fancy dinner, for cuddles and movies on the sofa? And if you’re interested in this stunning TV let me know your thoughts below, or click here to find out more details. I hope you all have a lovely Valentine’s Day!
